If Only Winifred Had Sprung for the Jif....

  • What the hell is a bazillionaire doing purchasing Cool
    Valley brand peanut butter?!?
  • Babe & Zoe and Annie & Ryan sleep together
(and unfortunately, we do mean sleep).
  • Truth-serum Zach spills all.
  • Despite her shrinking waistline, Colby shows some growth.
Okay, so we're losing Dixie next week. Rumor has it we've got a few more losses on the way, and possibly a big (recast) gain. Are we gonna have to start watching Bold and the Beautiful? Air, spill, shriek... just do your thing here.

I have SO many things to say, but for me, the main reason I continue to fume at TPTB is that the show is inconsistant and stupid. Did they not just say 2 weeks ago that none of the Fusion girls could eat anything that had not been tested? Fist Dani and now Babe/Dixie are served food that no one has looked at? Give me a break!

its true...and peanut butter? if the killer is targeting the Fusion women, i dont care what babes favorite food is, anyone in that house of like 10 people could have eaten it before her. this just makes me hate babe even more. and i dunno how the next death can be worse than Dixies...who are they gonna kill off, Erica??? honestly at this point i wouldnt put it past them

aside from the ridiculousness that they turned the death into of a major, important, core character.(you could tell that things ended up really badly between TPTB & Cady because how they are humiliating her w/ those scenes)Fiday was so sad because you could see in MEK(Tad) that he was fighting the tears while he was doing his dialogue.the sadness was also shown even when it called for him to smile in the scene.then Cady who was trying to be strong when she was looking at Mike it got to her to and you could also see the tears forming.that's when i lost it and started to bawl.Man this sucks years of seeing the character of Dixie since she was 18 years old(actually 20 for Cady's real age at the time)not to mention the love between TnD over the years, all to have the rug swept right from under the actress & fans at the last moment and have it end like that.:( The Idiots In Charge are just cheap and cowards.

Taylor and Ashley, it's now official, I enjoy your podcast WAY more than I do these weak pathetic episodes of AMC. And those pancakes? Disgusting and slimy looking. Cady is a real pro for eating those. I think that reaction she had to the pancakes was probably real, not acting. RIP Dix, you are too good for this gig.

WHERE IS PALMER???

Ashley said...

i can give you this scoop (i got mysources) - james mitchll, the actor who plays palmer, showed up to work that day, and was too sick to stay. the producers sent him home and jill larson changed her lines...

another scoop (you heard it here first!) - SUSAN LUCCI DID NOT KNOW THAT DIXIE HAD BEEN KILLED OFF. She showed up to work last week, and was like, "Nobody tells me anything!" It makes sense - she wasn't in any of the scenes, so...

NUTS! ALL OF IT!!!

so am I to get this right...when someone leaves the show, they get no send off of any kind..going away party, etc? How else could Lucci not have known? That is so sad...I had comforted myself a bit, thinking that at least Cady had a farewell party.

From VH1's Best Week Ever site, a petition to bring back Zaf/Zoe

Awesome, Lisa! BTW - I had heard that Zarfoe was always a short-term gig -- Jeffrey Carlson mentioned that he knew that the stint wasn't permanent, and that he has a Shakespeare gig coming up - I think in London, where he trained as an actor.

Dixie's grave ain't even cold yet, and we've got to mourn the loss of another good one!

(Has anyone else but me been playing Tuesday's ep over and over again?)

Is there any chance at all of this all being just a bad bad dream? Like the last four years are all a bad dream?

Bianca can wake up with baby Miranda in that log cabin and get rescued and this was all a post-pardum nightmare?

Please?

But, my goodness, you two podcasters are HILAROUS! You put into words the despair and desperation I feel about the state of this show, with far more class than I think I can muster.

i really can't believe what's going on. i admit, i'm not to sad about dixie leaving, although it is terrible that they killed her off. but now either babe or kendall!!! i know everyone hates babe but i don't, she has good story lines always and she's been a big part of the show since she first appeared. i remember reading something on superposter a few months ago about a new character who was a love interest for JR. i remember part of the script being about her telling JR that babe wasn't good enough for him, whatever.. because of that, i think it's gonna be kendal who is killed off and that is so stupid. i don't understand why they have to kill everyone off. i was so happy that bianca was back, and i love zarf, but now there's a petition to keep him on the show! this is getting crazy, not to mention simone, danielle, erin, brooke, possibly adam, and jackson. i can't take it! i know they want us to be on the edge of our seats but this is ridiculous.

You two crack me up. Just found the podcast at a point in the show when I think the headwriter needs to be switched quick. Thanks for saying a lot of what I think about the show but much funnier.

All My Children is Death by Pancake from now on - until they redeem themselves.

Although I don't think Maggie is a yawn. Heck, she kicked butt as the confident lesbian while they are dancing around a Bianca/Zoe coupling which is very PC but also mighty confusing I think for some folks watching.

Keep up the funny!

Damn - I go on vacation to Vegas for a week and even more hell has broken loose in Pine Valley. While I was there, I went to 6 different casinos sports books, and none of them were giving odds on who the Satin Slayer was. That really hacked me off.

It is terrible that Cady and Dixie are gone. I've them both for close to 10 years! And they're gone for good. I'm very angry and very sad! But Tad & Dixie's last happy moment was lovely. I wish they had their lunch date.

Dixie's scene with Babe was nice. I loved Dixie bringing up Tad's breakfast habits. I don't think it was out-of-nowhere at all! You may not remember, but... I remember years ago, probably back in 1999, Tad eating cereal with candy bars. He was home in his pajamas sitting on the couch. I don't know what brand of candy bar it was, but Tad broke it into pieces and put it in his cereal. It was funny! And I remember in another episode Dixie saying something like, "How can you eat that? It's so digusting." LOL!

Here's what Dixie's death reminded me of -- Remember in the Star Trek movie where Captain Kirk was killed? Did he die in some amazing fight to the death in space? Did he give his life so that Spock could live? Did he have a gunfight at the OK Corral? No, he was shot or stabbed or something out on a barren planet and died in such a anti-climactic way that I can't remember if he was shot or stabbed! And I'm a big Star Trek fan! Now, I don't compare Dixie to Capt. Kirk, really, but she's been a major player for so long and been Tad's "Together Forever" love, well, forever, and well . . . to say I'm mad is to put it mildly. I'm going to quit watching. I know, I know, I say it all the time (to my kids) but this time I mean it. I think. :)
